Current responsibilities:
Resource management:
- collaborate with Team Leads in other offices in common resource questions in order to solve them;
- hold interviews for hiring to Test Automation department;
- provide in-time project’s stuffing / replacement with people;
- provide emergency help to projects with escalations;
- support team work on existing projects as Lead / Coach
Education functions:
- provide team members all necessary knowledge in estimation, analysis, design, development and support of projects and tools;
- teach people modern Test Automation approaches;
- create materials and make education plan for company education center in Sumy State University;
- provide technical and organizational help in starting new projects;
- facilitate people in personal growth on projects;
- initiate and hold process of new trainings / seminars / practices development;
- schedule and hold trainings / seminars / practices regarding Test Automation and Development practices as a whole
Development functions:
- participate in analysis, design and creation of new tools for needs of Test Automation department;
- manage company’s Test Automation Support practice (20+ tools are supported by this practice currently);
- participate in development, support and content management of common company-wide information resource – “TA Portal”;
- work as TA Lead on projects:
• provide estimations for Test Automation effort on project;
• create all necessary documentation for new projects;
• perform management of Test Automation team on project;
• gather execution metrics and provide them to project management team;
• make corrections to work of existing team process according to the gathered metrics;
• build and follow the processes of work with QA / DEV / SP teams on project;
• write automation scenarios and execute them in both ways - automatically and manually if necessary;
• collaboration with customer team in all necessary questions (1 year on-site experience)
Achievements:
- created “Timex” program for part-time employees time metering; information management about employees, projects and trainings (Python and Django web framework were used);
- created “Questionnaire” program for knowledge testing, which are used for knowledge base evaluation for people applying for a job in the company2012 – 2013 years – got degree “Master of Computer Sciences” in Sumy State University, “Information Technologies” faculty.
2008 – 2012 years – got degree “Bachelor of Computer Sciences” in Sumy State University, “Information Technologies” faculty.
