Додаткова інформація
Особисті якості, хобі, захоплення, навички: Organizational skills:
- R&D team management, external team management
- R&D project management (especially research projects where time terms are unsure but should be sure)
- 8+ years presentation skills (improved by specific Intel trainings), up to basic marketing skills
- SW architecting (SDK API, API)
- Product management (HW+SW mostly)
- Establishing test & validation team processes (multiple times) and documentation pipeline for SW and HW projects
- SW re-engineering (Linux codes, academia codes)
- Establishing and managing research process for R&D activities
- Basic finance management for projects (10+ persons)
- Scientific paper writing, a dozen of papers published in journals
- Team communication, trained in team management. Somewhere Agile processes, but really I do not like Agile for well defined reasons (Experience how Agile evangelist should not drive Agile process)
- Labor safety
- University lectures, lecturer skills, managing university teams, student/intern coaching
Additional: Intel Corporate Courses (details during interview) about practically all you need to live in corporate environment.
Fluent (hopefully) English, native Russian and Ukrainian
Technical skills:
C/C++, more than 15 years
Parallel programming for multiprocessors
C# (for Unity3D engine) with moderate Unity3D experience (still good knowledge of game engine internals, moderate knowledge of graphics pipelines)
Linux programming (+quite old kernel experience)
Assembly/C lang for embedded processors (x86 SSE3+, TI DSPs, ADSP, Atmel, TI MSP430, ARM),
Practical Digital electronics development (basic Verilog) and analog front-ends
OpenCV library experience (good, actually)
Some Android experience (Android internals, debugging, development)
Knowlegde of TCP/IP and a bunch of networking protocols (very old Linux and network programming)

Intel Corp. Russia (Nizhny Novgorod Labs, Russia) – full subsidiary of Intel
Roles: Development, conducting R&D, project & people management
Main projects:
Sr. developer in development of a sound pipeline for Intel 3D Sense camera. Delivering code releases on two-weekly basis.
Sr. researcher for technology development for computational photography area. The goal was develop and optimize algorithms for parallel computations, aligning computational photography “killer applications” with company roadmaps.
Leading Native Samples SDK development and release cycle (own delivery part, architecture board member) for the pre-Xeon Phi solution: using our own game physics engine and eye-candy optimized game graphics.
The position included quarter-based sample releases (full-blown engineering release for 500 external clients) with added new functionality and updated API due to system changes. The latest development of samples included short game scenarios, with professional art used and professional artists employed to make eye-candy 2D and 3D samples.
Lead the roll out of a start up project, supported by company business dev unit: we have rolled out our own sensor data acquisition network product for one of the biggest Russian companies.
Sr. researcher for multiprocessor platform development and performance evaluation for pre-Xeon Phi platform, including parallel SW development and algorithm R&D (applied math, computer vision).
Position included: supervision and architecting and developing game physics engine development, algorithm R&D supervision, game engine project lead (>10 persons) for pre-Xeon Phi.
Support of Intel University programs: leading Russian universities (graphics teams) were granted to develop eye-candy physics and graphics for pre-Xeon Phi and Sandy Bridge platforms. Several projects were integrated into Samples SDK and delivered to clients.
6 US patents: HW accelerators, graphics and game technology.
