DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administering a part of the corporate Microsoft AD and directory service Novell eDirectory of the Department;
- Installing, upgrading, patching, tuning and maintaining the network equipment Cisco (Layer 2, Layer 3), Nortel;
- Maximizing the network performance by monitoring logs, troubleshooting network problems and outages;
- Maintaining the corporate DNS, DHCP network services;
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of the server systems (remote control, platform upgrades and OS efficient performance, and application patching activities);
- Data backup and recovery;
- Developing and reviewing backup and disaster recovery procedures and plans;
- Monitoring and maintenance of the IT infrastructure;
- Administering the workstations connected to the LAN - installing, configuring, troubleshooting;
- Assisting customers in resolving technical problems, providing advanced technical support to the customer;
- Working with the system user support OmniTracker Service Desk and BMC Remedy Service Desk.
- Administering network printing;
- Administering APC, MGE ups systems;
- Installation and modernization of the structured cabling system;
- Managing the group of system administrators, and control over their activities;
