PlayPart is seeking a Mobile Engineer to join the R&D team in support of the development and improvement of the PlayPart mobile application. If you’re creative, driven by creating a real positive impact in the world and have fun in the process, we want to meet you.
As a Mobile Engineer you’ll be an integral part of the creative Mobile team at PlayPart and will help us develop new features that take advantage of the latest trends in the iOS ecosystem. The ideal candidate is proficient in Swift, able to clearly communicate with other developers and non-technical teammates, and strives to constantly improve.
The Mobile Engineer reports directly to the Tech Lead and the CEO and works directly with the Engineering and Product teams composed of our Product Managers, UX Designers, and engineers, and may collaborate with the Sports department and Partnerships teams.
In This Role You Will:
- Mobile Engineering: Directly work on the implementation and development of our native iOS mobile application. Work on bugs, documentation, tests, and more in order to unblock the team and increase their performance.
- Collaborate: Work closely with other teams to identify and meet their needs in a collaborative, agile environment.
- Continuous Integration and Deployment: Create and maintain continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Take part in the full lifecycle of development of IOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
- Design, architect, and implement well-tested code in Swift codebase.
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience developing native iOS apps using Swift.
- Mastery of best-practice mobile architecture and modular design.
- Knowledge of layouts, themes, styles, views, and other iOS UI concepts especially. pertaining to Material Design Guidelines.
- An understanding of iOS design patterns, including MVVM or MVP.
- Good level of English.
