We are looking for a DevOps Engineer in Kyiv that will join the team that builds a totally new hybrid event platform for our top international clients.

REQUIREMENTS
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Suggest and perform architecture changes to improve DR, high availability, and security
Take actions to improve our high availability deploy and maintain development and production Kubernetes-based cloud environment, improve existing deployment packages implemented with Helm
Add visibility and monitoring infrastructure using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Logs.io, etc.
Automate AWS resources provisioning with Terraform
Build high scalability and availability to support our global expansion
Monitor and suggest ways to reduce cloud costs
Work closely with development teams
Take ownership of implementing and maintaining processes
WHAT YOU HAVE
3-5 years of proven experience with SAAS large-scale production in one of AWS, Google, Azure clouds (AWS advantage)
Experience in enterprise Linux operating system administration, deployment, configuration, and management
Understanding of various firewall architectures and network/cloud security concepts (VPNs, IAM, etc.)
Proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, EKS, RDS, Cloudfront
Proven experience with configuration management and orchestration tools such as Docker, Helm, Terraform, Kubernetes
Experience with MySQL, ElasticSearch, Kafka
Experience with scripting languages as Python / Shell
Take part in deep-dive troubleshooting exercises and drive technical post-mortem discussions to identify the root cause of complex issues
Experience at using metrics, monitoring, and alarming to measure and improve the operational processes
Experience with developing and running CI/CD pipelines (we are using CircleCI)
