Lead Software Engineer ( Backend / Java / Node JS )

Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate senior software engineer to lead our backend engineering efforts designing and implementing BitClave’s BASE, a revolutionary decentralized ecosystem. Key responsibilities:
● Build develop, and manage a small and growing team.
● Lead the design and development efforts for cutting edge technical solutions that will solve data privacy issues impacting search and the control of user data.
● Perform hands-on architecture, design and development of BASE platform and sub-systems across the entire SW stack
● Interface with product management with respect to product roadmap planning, project scheduling, and release management
● Design and implementation of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines and unit test automation
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, Master’s degree is a plus
● At least seven years proven experience as a software engineer
● At least five years proven experience building backend for scalable, high performing and robust applications
● Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Node JS for backend development is a must
● At least two years experience leading team of software engineers, including task assignment, mentoring, execution follow up and quality control is a must
● Kotlin, Go, C++ for backend development is a plus
● Javascript (React, Angular) for front-end development is a plus
● Enterprise level experience with track record with design and operation of scalable and high-available applications highly desired.
● Experience with databases such as Postgres MySQL, or Cassandra
● Experience with cloud-based services such as Heroku is preferred. Other experience with services such as Amazon AWS highly desired
● Experience with Ethereum/Solidity smart contracts is highly desired
