The client is an international investment company that manages tens of billions of dollars and conducts business in several areas: private equities, credits, and liquid markets.
DataArt is currently developing a payment system for the client's back-office. This complex distributed application is integrated with different systems. Its features include the preparation of transactions, generation of accounting documents, accounting, conformation of transactions, and sending funds to banks through the Portfolio Management System.
Our experts have developed the first version of a system that is designed for in-house use. A new phase of the project has now begun: expanding the system and adapting it for external user support.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing existing business processes and setting operational and business tasks.
- Analyzing, documenting, and managing technical and business requirements throughout the project’s lifecycle.
- Organizing effective interactions between the client and the project team.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Finance.
- 2+ years of experience working as a business analyst.
- Understanding of the basic terms of the financial industry.
- The ability to document and analyze requirements for developing a possible solution.
- Experience verifying products for compliance.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Skills working with MS Excel (power/experienced user level).
- Understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Good communication skills in English (oral and written).
- No formal restrictions to go on business foreign trips for 2 weeks or more.
Additional Competences:
- Experience working in projects related to the financial industry.
- Experience writing specifications for storage and data processing systems.
- Skills managing requirements throughout a project’s life.
- Experience modeling business processes, knowledge of notations and methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of business analysis and requirements management.
- Experience teaching users how to use a product.
