Опис вакансії

The world’s leading medieval combat sports association is looking for a journalist for its online social media and web portals. In this role you will work closely with opinion leaders from our community and your goal will be to create and publish new and unique content in English and Russian on our site and/or mobile app and other resources. You will work closely with our content makers: video editors and graphics designers. We will need you to have previous experience of work as journalist or similar. Good communication skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural team are required.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing copy (articles)
  • Making research
  • Interviewing people and organizations in English, Ukrainian and Russian
  • Publication of written (created) materials on all available websites and social media

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of work in any media (online would be a plus)
  • Upper-intermediate or higher written English
  • Excellent written Russian
  • Ability to explain complex things with simple words and short sentences
  • Знание/понимание основных законов литературного слога
  • Flexibility and meeting deadlines

Will be a plus

  • Experience with Facebook Instant Articles
  • Experience with two or more of the following frameworks/apps: Wordpress, WIX, Trello, Slack, OnlyOffice, Bitrix24
