As Senior Backend Developer Magento you take responsibility in the development of complex, whitelabel-enabled and responsive multi-shop solutions based on Magento Commerce (Magento 2 EE) for international companies. In the development process, you are significantly involved in the conception, user experience design, development and rollout.

In our specialist teams, you will experience an intensive professional exchange with other professionals and work with pioneering technologies and modern project management methods. At comwrap you play an important role in a growing full-service company with technical roots.

• We use current containerization technologies for development environments (Docker)
• From setting up the development environment to deploying to testing, almost every step is automated (Phing, Deployer, GitLab CI)
• Performance optimization with bytecode caches (opcache), PHP-FPM and working with optimized search platforms (Elasticsearch, solr) are part of our daily lives
• Agile methods like SCRUM are just as much a part of our lives as developer meet-ups with constant innovation impulses

• Development of modules for enterprise shop solutions
• Autonomous planning, development and implementation of complex interfaces to customer systems (REST, SOAP)

• strong experience in backend development with Magento 1
• very good experience with Magento 2
• extensive experience with JavaScript and JS frameworks
• well-versed knowledge in the framework used by Magento (Zend, symfony)
• knowledge in dealing with our technology stack (phing, git, CI, Elasticsearch)
• enthusiasm and interest in new technologies
• independent work - you know what you can and you are happy to pass on your knowledge
• very good english language knowledge
