Senior MS SQL Administrator, Digital Financial Services

The client is a leading company in the field of internet marketing and direct-to-consumer products that develops and promotes approaches to the evaluation of financial stability.
The company’s main product has combined the innovative analysis system and statistical data processing results of tens of millions of users. This has allowed them to implement a convenient consumer service for mass use.
Due to the success of the company and the explosive growth in the consumer base, the need has arisen to radically rebuild the system using modern architectural approaches.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years of experience administering and maintaining a MS SQL Server.
- Experience working with eCommerce projects.
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server 2008/2012 (administering, setting up, updating, performance tuning, backup & recovery, high availability).
- Experience working with backup media and understanding of SQL Server recovery models.
- Data analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Practical experience developing high load systems on MS SQL Server.
- Experience administering MS Windows server products and their work in the AD structure.
- Supporting MSSQL cluster databases.
- Experience working with clusters (VMWare ESXi SAN, NAS, and Windows).
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Flexibility and the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
- The ability to independently plan and correctly organize work processes.
- Good spoken English.
Additional Competences:
- Microsoft certification.
- Hands on storage management experience with HPE 3PAR SAN or Dell Compellent solutions
- Experience with monitoring systems (SCOM).
- Experience with cloud services, AWS or Azure.
