About project:

The project nature is a real-time mapping and task management system used by large organizations to manage their workforce and keep track of assets. Comprises a micro-service style distributed component architecture. All components are built on a .NET Core technology stack and follow a 'cloud-first' design philosophy. The front-end presented to users is a Vue.js single-page application (SPA) and native mobile application.

Client Location: Australia.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Understand the existing software eco system and application code base
- Plan technical solutions for new products, features, and enhancements
- Interface with other team members to research ideal technical solutions to meet product goals
- Provide project oversight, code, and design review leadership

Required Skills and Experience

- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an architect or technical lead
- Minimum 5 years’ experience developing software as an engineer
- Previous experience with enterprise projects
- Notable communication skills for producing documentation, plans, and design for technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong grasp of SDLC, particularly development, quality management, deployment, and operational realities
- Exceptional software development contributor; you will be writing code
- Expert in Microsoft tech stack (C#, .Net Core, EF Core, etc.)
- Experience architecting and implementing scalable, fault-tolerant, cloud-based distributed systems - preferably in the public cloud (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)
- Experience with micro-services architectures
- Experience with Docker
- English level - Intermediate Strong and above
