Itera is looking for a Senior/Tech Lead Java Developer for new engagement with one of the strategic Nordic customers to work in Norway on the customer’s premises. Customer is one of the leading provider of payment solutions in the Europe connecting banks, businesses, the public sector, merchants and consumers via an international network facilitating digital payments. It provides a broad range of services within payment cards, bank account services, and payment solutions for merchants.
The project is about development and implementation of customer’s Clearing products on European Market. The core solution defines payments flows and bundled with many modules providing different functions and services.
The assignment is to establish secure, stable, application development, integration and implementation of this solution.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Design, develop and integrate system modules, features
- Design and develop unit test, integration tests
- Tight communication with business users, perform requirements analysis
- Tight communication with onsite development team
- Communicate with rest of development/test team, on-site architects and technical personnel
Professional requirements:
- At least 4-5-year experience within software development
- Java 7 & 8
- Intellij
- Maven
- Jetty
- Jenkins
- Jira, Confluence, Fitnesse
- Oracle
- Git
- LDAP
- Frameworks:
o Hibernate (where appropriate)
o Hazelcast\Vertx (clustering)
o Camel (mainly for connectivity)
o Siteminder (online access control)
- Knowledge of unit testing, continuous integration
- Deep understanding software product lifecycle, quality assurance approaches
- Experience of work in distributed environment with direct communication with customer
Personal requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- English: upper-intermediate, both oral and written
- Self-organized and -motivated
- Strong analytical skills
- Good team player with orientation on result
Is a plus:
- Experience of work accordingly SCRUM/Kanban methodologies
- Knowledge of financial domain
