Employer: Austrian startup with the e-commerce industry

Location: Vienna, Austria

Salary: up to 54 000 euro gross per year

Cooperation model: Full-time Employment Contract

Start: ASAP

Our Client is an Austrian startup that creates print products by using AI. Currently, they are developing 2 new apps and constantly building new functionalities.

Your role is:

-> To implement new features for backend and layouting algorithms using Scala;

-> To work closely with CTO, extended developer team (backend, web frontend, and mobile), and product managers;

-> To design and develop new features during team sessions (Agile methodology, sprint every 2 weeks);

-> To give and receive feedback, criticize constructively, and improve through feedback from your peers.

Your skills and experiences:

-> University degree in Computer Science or similar (Non-EU candidates should have a degree in Computer Science which is required to apply for an Austrian work permit);

-> 3+ years of experience in functional programming (Java or Scala);

-> Experience in automated testing and deployment processes;

-> Strong communication and presentation skills;

-> Fluency in English.

Nice to have:

-> Experience with SQL, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Docker, Kubernetes;

-> Working knowledge of machine learning algorithms.
