We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, self-driven Java developer to join a Work Life Platform team. Primary Responsibilities
- Develop features and backend functionality using Java, Kotlin, Spring, and AWS cloud solutions like Lambda
- Maintain existing features, write functional and unit tests
- Cooperate closely with other team members to deliver high-quality code
- Deliver projects on time and at a high-quality level
- Contribute ideas to product development
- Constantly think about improving the customer experience
- Be part of our DevOps culture
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in professional software development
- Profound knowledge of Java programming and frameworks
- Strong experience in developing applications using Spring framework
- Exposure to architectural patterns of RESTful web applications
- Solid knowledge of databases (e.g., MariaDB, MongoDB etc.)
- Able to contribute to best practices and architectural leadership for backend applications
- Experience with agile methodologies and automated testing
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills, ability to handle uncertainty
- Good communication and writing skills in English
Bonus points for knowledge of
- Knowledge of Kotlin
- Understanding of cloud-based technologies and tools (AWS, CI etc.)
- Experience in fintech, payments, banking
