is looking for a Mid to Senior level PHP Software Developer to join our team in Sofia to work on a Client project in the Insure Tech domain. We are a solution provider for the insurance industry. As the first-mover on the German market, we

Our teams are world class, striving to provide the highest quality and value. We have years of average hands-on coding experience, across multiple technologies, vertical markets and platforms. What is the role of the PHP Developer with our Client?

The PHP Developer is a part of the software development team of our Client. The company is developing various software Apps, SDKs, APIs and cloud infrastructure. The development spans across several desktop and mobile platforms, OSs and SW technologies. As a part of cross functional project team, the Developer is responsible for understanding requirements, specifying detailed design, developing code, testing and delivering high quality work products. Other responsibilities may include SW architecture, technical / team leadership, project management and mentoring other team members.

Role's responsibilities and requirements:

• You have experience with PHP7 +, Laravel, CSS;
• You understand what software engineering principles are, what software development life cycle is and why we need software quality;
• The operation and handling of relational database systems are well known to you;
• You are using Git SCM as a daily driver;
• Unit & integration tests are at least a field of interest, and you can imagine making it a habit;
• Experience in service-oriented backend architectures (SOA), because Divide and Conquer does not solely refer to Machiavelli's the Art of War;
• Teamwork and critical faculty characterize you, because you are aware that we can only achieve greatness as a team;
• Accordingly, you will enjoy developing yourself in and with the team and sharing knowledge;
• You are excited about the implementation of new ideas, products and functions;
• Solution-oriented and structured, as well as good abstract thinking are an apt description of your thought process;
• You are interested in new frameworks, libraries and technologies;
• When you hear the term document-based database systems, you don't think of a filing cabinet;
• If someone says MessageBroker, you're not thinking of WhatsApp first, but maybe RabbitMQ;
• English language at level B1-B2.
• JavaScript is a plus.
• German language is a plus.
