Novel Entertainment is product-oriented company, that develops mobile games and applications supported by IOS and Android. Combining high-end technologies and team professionalism, we contribute products of the highest quality standards.
At the moment, we have started new project (story-based application) and, therefore, we are looking for Level Designer/ Book Lead to join our friendly team. It is full-time job and requires USA time zone business hours (from 1-3 pm to 10-12 midnight of our time). Requirements and qualifications:
Analytical and structured thinking is a must;
Excellent oral and written skills in both English and Russian/Ukrainian (advanced/fluent English level is essential);
Strong self-organizational and time management skills, ability to work with minimum control along with keen attention to details;
Ability to handle several projects at the same time.
Responsibilities:
Step by step creation a block-scheme for the book-story together with Writer;
Game features and game mechanics rearrangement;
Ideation of interesting backstories, characters, locations, game worlds;
Accept and incorporate feedback, adapt writing to meet requirements;
Hollywood scenario arc, control of input data (genre, style, topic);
Technical tasks for artists;
Working with project documentation and specification;
Will be a plus:
Technical major, experience in game design;
Understanding of mobile games.
