Our client is developing an online marketing automation service. We are looking for a data engineer who will join the team working on the corporate strategy for the collection, visualization, and segmentation of user data. The team's work, which will include the specialist, should promote the growth of income and increase the efficiency of the service. The data engineer specialist will work on building recommendations for working with marketing channels, target audience, and content placement.

The data engineer specialist will work on building recommendations for working with marketing channels, target audience, and content placement.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a data engineering/analytics role;
- Experience in applying data analysis techniques to a large set of data using technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, MongoDB, and other NoSQL data stores;
- Advanced Experience with building ETL processes using programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, and R in a Linux/Unix environment;
- Experience with Amazon Web Services such as EMR, RDS, Redshift, S3, Aurora, Athena, and Elastic Search Services;
- The ability to connect 3rd party data sources using APIs, including JDBC, ODBC, and REST;
- Experience with SQL querying and knowledge of performance tuning and optimization with traditional RDBMS such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MSSQL;
- Knowledge of data warehouse architecture and design techniques and experience in implementing large-scale data lakes and traditional EDW or data marts;
- Experience analyzing large data sets, and applying a variety of statistical techniques such as regression, discriminant analysis, cluster analysis, and Bayesian analysis;
- Familiar with popular data formats including CSV, Fixed length, JSON, XML, Parquet, Avro, etc.;
- Experience in visualizing data to stakeholders in a simple and concise manner through visualization software such as Looker, D3, Tableau, QlikView, Periscope, Business Objects, or other similar software;
- Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or another quantitative discipline;
- Experience working as part of an Agile engineering team.
