AVSI, a non-profit organisation, founded in 1972, carries out development cooperation and aid projects humanitarian aid in 38 countries, including Italy. In the last year it has helped about 5 million people in need.
His vision: to work for a world in which every person is the protagonist of his and hers integral development his community, even in emergency contexts. In the last year it has helped about 5 million people in difficulty.
Our mission: AVSI bases its cooperation projects in the various sectors on preferential attention for education understood as accompanying the person to self-discovery and recognition of the other as a good. Each project is therefore conceived as a tool aimed at promoting it awareness in all the subjects involved, has in itself a need for communication and sharing, and exercises an impact capable of generating positive change.
AVSI proposes an intervention based on assistance in matters of protection of displaced persons and of supply of basic necessities.
