In November 2013, the Ukrainian branch of the company, Fujikura Automotive Ukraine LLC, was established. The official opening took place on April 14, 2016, with the presence of notable figures such as President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, and the Ambassador of Japan in Ukraine, Shigeki Sumi. The plant produces wire harnesses for Volkswagen vehicles. The company has more than 1 000 employees. It takes care of its employees, society and environment by taking part in a number of social and environmental activities.
