Uncommon Marketing Works is a boutique full-service marketing agency. Our goal is to help start-ups, small to medium-size businesses grow through the use of full-funnel integrated marketing strategies. We offer a full suite of digital marketing services, including branding, social media marketing, search engine marketing, content marketing, website, marketing automation / CRM, sales alignment, and much more.

Currently, we are seeking someone who can prospect, develop leads, and assist the owner in closing new opportunities. This involves prospecting, outreach, lead nurturing, assisting in pitching, and assisting in closing sales. Our audience consists primarily of start-ups, small to mid-size businesses across many industries who are looking to help navigating marketing efforts and to grow their business. We are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about sales and marketing to join our team, consult with leads about our services, and help close new agency business.

Responsibilities

  • Generate outbound leads / opportunities through LinkedIn prospecting
  • Consult with inbound leads (qualify leads, develop proposals, and help pitch)
  • Launch outreach campaigns (involving emails, LinkedIn, and cold calling)
  • Schedule consultation meetings with interested leads with the owner
  • Develop and pitch custom proposals to interested leads along with the owner
  • Assist in closing new deals

Requirements

  • Strong sales history and passion for selling
  • Passionate about digital marketing
  • Passionate about helping businesses
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly
  • Ability to understand the needs of our leads and how to cater services to their needs
  • Understanding of marketing tactics used by a digital agency
  • Broad understanding of digital marketing (Social Media, Website Design, SEO, Lead Generation, Email Marketing etc.) - preferred
  • Any previous sales, customer service, or related experience in working with an agency - preferred

Education

  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Business, Marketing or another related field.

Experience

  • 2-3 years of sales or customer service experience is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of marketing experience
