outstaff company is seeking for his client a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to manage and guide our offshore development team, responsible for maintaining and developing our remittance product. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, prior experience leading teams, and hands-on expertise in NestJS and React. Experience with PHP (legacy systems) is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead, mentor, and manage a team consisting of senior, mid-level, and entry-level developers, a Flutter developer, and a QA engineer.
· Oversee the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the remittance product.
· Collaborate with the product team to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring the team delivers high-quality results on time.
· Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and consistency.
· Define and enforce best practices for software development, including CI/CD processes and agile methodologies.
· Work hands-on when necessary, contributing to the development of key features or resolving complex technical challenges.
· Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot issues related to the technology stack (NestJS, React, and PHP).
· Ensure smooth communication between the offshore team and the main office.
· Monitor and report on project progress, identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
· Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development.
At least 3 years of experience in a Team Leader or similar role, managing cross-functional development teams.
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in NestJS and backend development using TypeScript.
o Strong knowledge of React for building modern front-end applications.
o Experience working with PHP (legacy codebases) is an advantage.
o Familiarity with databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
o Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies.
o Understanding of mobile development principles (Flutter experience is a plus).
