DevOps Engineer with AWS Experience, Online Delivery Services

Our client is an online platform that connects product manufacturers with local clients. Users register on the platform and make purchases online, and manufacturers receive requests. There is also a mobile application that connects clients with the company.
Most of the profits are invested in building new systems and modernizing its services. The platform is growing and we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to strengthen the team which is working on migrating the stack to AWS.
Technologies used in the project: Ruby on Rails, Javascript & Node.js, React & Redux, Postgres, Redis, ElasticSearch, Memcached, Redshift, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GitHub/GitLab.
We are not hiring the specialist just for this project, but also for one of the DataArt companies. When the project is over, or if after some time you no longer are satisfied by the project, you can discuss transitioning to another project with the managers.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience of operating Linux in production environments;
- Experience with configuration management;
- Experience with continuous integration systems (Jenkins, gitlab-ci);
- Ability to learn new technologies and methods;
- Test automation experience;
- An understanding of the value of monitoring and logging;
- Experience with Docker and AWS in a production system;
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies;
- Teamwork experience using SCRUM;
- Spoken English.

- Willingness to take responsibility (currently everyone deploys to production, everyone fixes bugs);
- An ability to think creatively;
- An ability to teach, and learn from others and to work collaboratively;
- An ability to lead and mentor;
- A track record of efficiency and self-discipline;
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Experience in working in a startup.
