Welcome to Olitex - the leading OEM technical textile factory located in Dongguan, China, manufacturing for top brands around the world. We develop and produce stroller textiles, baby carriers, tool bags and other high quality consumer products. Olitex is a part of the Starry Group, a privately Western owned manufacturing group of 9 factories and 5,000 employees in China and Myanmar.

Job Description:

We are seeking a professional product developer/engineer/designer who is full of creativity to join our team in a managerial position of an Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities:

● Meeting with customers to develop new ideas

● Managing closely all the big development projects

● Solving complex and urgent problems in development and production - in the factory and in front of customers and suppliers

● Improving production processes, integration of unique machines, jigs etc. (20% of job scope)

Minimum qualifications:

● Great communication skills in English

● Creativity and strong technical abilities

● Experience in working closely with customers

● Ready to live and work in China continuously (Dongguan City)

Preferred qualifications and advantages:

● Experience and knowledge in strollers - big advantage

● Chinese speaker – advantage

● Experience in an engineering/industrial design of textile/shoe products

● Bachelor’s degree in Industrial design / Mechanical engineering / similar technical fields

Terms and benefits:

● Probation period – 6 months

● Contract for 3-5 years (minimum)

● Monthly salary – USD 3,000

● Flight tickets compensation (one time per year)

● Full working visa support

● Accommodation provided (up to USD 650,0 per month)

● Annual vacation and public holidays paid

● Full visa support to family members.
