Our client is a Canadian consulting company providing a wide range of services related to management audits and operational discipline. To provide better service, they developed their own custom web application.
This app allows to create certain frameworks for quality assessment processes, performance metrics, operation management etc. It enables users to analyze large amount of data, build charts, see current and potential gaps, dependencies and areas for improvement. The purpose of the product is to increase discipline and enable continuous improvement through simplification and automation of audit processes. It is best suited for medium and large sized companies in which audit process is quite large, complicated and time-consuming.
Role description:
As a part of the team, you will:
• Engage in development of new product features
• Generate, suggest and implement ideas on system improvement and refactoring
• Conduct direct communication with the client and their team, clarify requirements to find appropriate solutions
• Work closely with project managers, developers, and quality assurance engineers
• Be responsible for making, discussing, approving technical decisions and having them implemented
Required skills:
• 3+ years in software development
• Knowledge of Design Patterns
• Strong knowledge of Core JavaScript
• English on at least Intermediate level
Desired skills:
• Commercial experience with Node.js
• Commercial experience with Backbone.js
• Good spoken English
