Our product, Sumac, is CRM software for non-profit organizations used in over 20 countries around the world. Sumac is Java application running on Linux, Macintosh, and Windows. Our physical office located in Canada and we have a virtual office for our employees around the globe.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Write, test and review code in Java and submit it for inclusion in the next release of the product.

REQUIREMENTS

— Good English. You must be competent to read, write, and speak English. This job requires discussions with other staff members.

— Java (3+ years of experience)

— SQL databases

— Git

— strong data structure knowledge

— unit testing

— extremely detail oriented

— Experience in C or C++ is an asset

WORKING CONDITIONS

Full-time job in virtual office — 8 hours per day, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) with 3 hours of your working time from 8:30am to 11:30am EST. (Eastern Standard Time), the other 5 hours are flexible.Salary: $1100−1500 USD/month, compensation will be commensurate with qualifications.

APPLICATION PROCESS (in total about 4−5 hours of your time)

Step 1 Successfully complete software development task #1 (Java)

Step 2 Successfully complete software development design task #2

Step 3 Go through technical interview over Skype.
