Our company manages the massive network of content-based websites with more than 2.6 million monthly visitors in total. These websites are mostly online English dictionaries with unique content. We maintain this network, implement new features, and provide free spellcheck, grammar check, and thesaurus services to visitors of our websites.
Role description:
As a PHP developer on this project, your primary responsibilities will be to:
• maintain current network of Symfony-based websites (add new features, implement design or content changes, etc.)
• release new dictionary websites using existing data sources
You will be a part of a small but creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the development.
Required skills:
• Good knowledge of MySQL and PHP 5.6 - 7.*
• Understanding of OOP paradigm
• Knowledge of Symfony framework (1,2,3), MongoDB, Apache
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, markup skills, JS
• GIT system of version control
Desired skills:
• Knowledge of jQuery framework, Doctrine, Sphinx, and MongoDB
• MySQL DB (triggers, views, functions, and procedures)
• Understanding of Rest API, work with Google API
• Linux knowledge
