About the Customer and Project:
Our customer is the world’s largest DNA network in the world from the USA and helping people find the singular story in their DNA. Also, using this resource and DNA analysis, you can determine your ethnicity, susceptibility to a variety of genetically transmitted diseases, and more.
And right now we are looking for the Senior Back-end (Java) Engineer who wants to join our new ambitious team for the full-time position in Lviv, Ukraine to the new Project of our customer.
Our ideal teammate will be working on multiple company stacks and inventory system and responsibility will include:
- the ability to track status for completing or enabling objectives for Web Pages, Services, End-points, etc
- the ability for Product Managers, Teams, etc.
- can create and maintain a very large inventory of test data in production in our application.
Responsibilities:
Along with the team, your responsibilities will be next:
- writing clean, well designed, testable, efficient code
- tests and maintaining thorough test coverage
- work as a team player & communicate effectively
- understand the spring and work in an Agile team
Technical Requirements:
- at least 4+ years of commercial experience with using of Java 8+
- strong knowledge and experience with Spring, Reactive Spring
- at least 2+ years of commercial experience using Aurora AWS
- strong knowledge and commercial experience with SQL or MySQL
- experience with AWS EC2 instances and within Container Environments (Kubernetes, AWS Fargate)
- SOLID understanding of object-oriented programming
Will be a plus:
- experience with RESTful endpoints
- Agile methodologies and software development life cycles
- experience in designing and implementing a large-scale web application
