Employment Type: Full-time

Our Goal: We’re looking for an analyst to join our cybersecurity team, someone who can transform complex data into clear and compelling reports that not only inform but also drive well-considered decisions. You will collaborate closely with security experts, engineers, and DevOps specialists.
The role of an analyst in our team is crucial due to the complex nature of cybersecurity. Cybersecurity is challenging to “touch,” visualize, and measure—yet it’s essential to do so. We’re counting on you!
Responsibilities:
- Support and enhance the information security management system by creating actionable reports that serve as guides for decision-making.
- Develop visually clear, well-structured reports that tell their own story.
- Work with large data sets in ClickHouse, Python, and any other tools you’re comfortable with to create impactful visualizations.
- Engage with REST APIs for various security services, even if they’re not extensive.
- Perform quality assurance (QA) on all reports to ensure they meet high standards of accuracy and clarity.
Expectations for the Ideal Candidate:
- Proficiency in SQL is second nature to you, and you’re eager to dive into newer areas like Semantic Web (RDF/Datalog).
- Strong skills in visualizing complex data, with an eye for creating clear, aesthetically pleasing representations where every detail has its place.
- Ability to convey stories through reports, transforming dry numbers into engaging visual narratives. You understand that a report is more than just a data snapshot—it’s a story that’s impossible to tell without visualization.
- You don’t need to be a data visualization artist, but you should be able to thoughtfully select the right type of visualization (datavizproject.com) and layout a report in HTML, at least with the help of tools like GPT/Copilot.
- Solid proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python, R, or JavaScript.
- Made it this far? Please include a sample of one of your reports with your cover letter. We’d love to see your work!
What We Offer:
- Fully Remote: Work from anywhere, with potential relocation to Europe.
- Flexible Schedule: 40 hours per week, with a few brief sync meetings. You’re free to ignore work chats after 7:00 PM and on weekends.
- Experienced Team: You’ll be working alongside security specialists, data engineers, and DevOps experts who are always ready to lend support.
- Supportive HR: Holiday gifts, English courses, fitness support, and access to a company-sponsored therapist—these benefits kick in after a successful probation period.
- Professional Growth Support: We’ll back your development financially and professionally, covering courses, certifications, and conference attendance.
- Competitive Salary: Starting from €3,000 and up, based on experience and qualifications.
If data for you is a living material to craft into visual stories, we’d be thrilled to welcome you to our team!
