Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on security to join our team. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in building, maintaining, and securing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and containerized environments. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our infrastructure and applications are secure, reliable, and scalable while enabling fast and efficient development cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Integration: Embed security practices into the DevOps pipeline, ensuring secure code delivery from development to production.

• CI/CD and Automation: Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security tests, ensuring rapid and secure deployment processes.

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to provision and manage secure cloud environments on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Vulnerability Management: Monitor, identify, and address vulnerabilities across systems, applications, and infrastructure.

• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to implement best practices and resolve issues.

• Monitoring & Incident Response: Set up and maintain monitoring tools to detect and respond to incidents quickly and effectively.

Required Skills & Experience

• DevOps Expertise: Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TeamCity) and version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Cloud Platforms: Proven experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and their cloud-native security tools.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on expertise in tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

• Containerization & Orchestration: In-depth knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container security best practices.

• Security Practices: Familiarity with SAST/DAST tools, vulnerability scanning, and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.

• Monitoring & Observability: Experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, or similar.

• Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation and tooling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2).

• Experience with IAM systems (e.g., OAuth, SAML, OpenID).

• Relevant certifications such as CKA, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+.

• Knowledge of DevSecOps tools like Aqua Security, Twistlock, or Snyk.
