We have a variety of projects from cross platform mobile applications to web apps that are designed for collaborating on geospatial data in environments with and without internet connectivity.
We are looking for a great developer who can do both server side and web client work.
We use Python/Django for our server development and Javascript/Angular for client side work. Most of our work is using opensource software.
The co-founders are both developers as well and contribute to the projects.
Depending on experience and skill, we will pay $2,500 to $3,500 per month
Must have 3+ years of server and client side development in Python and AngularJS.
Must have experience with Linux based OS such as Ubuntu
Must have experience with Virtual Machines
Must have experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
Must be able to communicate very well in english (written and oral).
Must have experience using Git & Github
Nice if familiar with Geoserver (geoserver.org), Geonode (geonode.org) , Openlayers (openlayers.org), Leaflet, PostGIS
Nice if familiar with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
Nice if familiar with PhoneGap, Ionic Framework, and native android/iOS
Nice if familiar with Vagrant, Chef, or Ansible
