About the project:
The product is an application which allows to use of proprietary device functionality on iOS. App development requires skills and experience in local and remote networking, USB, Bluetooth and other communication protocols as well as UI components. Primarily languages for the product are written using Swift and ObjC.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of commercial experience as an iOS Swift Software engineer.
- Knowledge of Git.
- Understanding and practical knowledge of OOP.
- Proficiency using Xcode.
- Practical usage of MVC, MVVM, and other architectural patterns.
- Knowledge of UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Would be a plus:
- Experience using VSCode is a plus.
- Experience in macOS/Catalyst development is a plus.
- Experience in writing UnitTests is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a modern iOS/Catalyst application.
- Use best practices to minimize impacts on user experience, such as battery drain, memory warnings, unresponsive UI, etc.
- Ability to read through third-party developer code, understand flow and function and make improvements as needed.
