To strengthen Electrolux presence in Eastern Europe Electrolux is set to acquire a factory in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. Electrolux bid has been accepted by the seller, the deal closing was in Q1 2011.
On the 1St April 2011 Ivano-Frankivsk factory was fully operated by Electrolux and produce front load washing machines under Zanussi and Electrolux brands gradually increasing annual capacity up.
