We are Green Capital SA, a group that has co-created the renewable energy market in Europe for more than 15 years. Recently, Green Capital has also strengthened its activity in other markets in Europe, Africa and Asia. In these regions the company plans its growth based on the design, construction and operation of diversified renewable energy sources, energy storage and transmission networks.

Currently, we’re looking to expand into Ukrainian market with a talented individual currently based in the country:

Country Manager (Renewable Energy)

Location: Kyiv or Lviv

Work type: home office with travel

Contract Type: Full-time, B2B

This will be a key role that will steer the development of renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven entrepreneur, adept in navigating the local market and aligning with our headquarters' vision for Solar, Wind, and BESS projects. The position centers on Land Acquisition with a broader scope, offering a path to a Country Manager role.

Role Description

• Development of Solar, Wind, and BESS projects within the local market.

• Crafting projects that align with the directives from HQ.

• Conducting thorough analyses of projects related to Renewable Energy Sources (RES).

• Collaborating with local partners to advance project goals.

• Liaising with Green Capital's headquarters to ensure synergy.

• Steering projects to gain internal approval, including securing land, negotiating lease agreements, and obtaining the necessary permits.

Requirements

• Min. 3+ years experience acquiring land.

• Expertise in medium to large scale photovoltaic (PV) or wind energy markets.

• Strong knowledge of land rights, regulations, and leasing practices in Ukraine.

• A proven track record in managing real estate deals or projects, ideally with a portfolio scale totaling 200-300 MW in installations.

• Fluency in Ukrainian and English, both written and spoken.

• Proven negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with landowners, local communities, and administration.

• Excellent project management skills, an entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starter attitude.

• Proactivity and flexibility, coupled with a willingness to travel for business when necessary.

More about us

We are the pioneer of the photovoltaic market in Poland, where we were among the first to build photovoltaic farms back in 2015.

In 2019, we reached a 4% market share in large-scale photovoltaic farms, becoming the leader in the sector of farms with a capacity of more than 1 MW. Currently, we are developing a total capacity of over 36,900 MW, encompassing a diverse portfolio of projects at various stages of development, from conceptualization to nearing completion. and have a share of projects with connection conditions issued of about 4.1% in Poland. Additionally, our portfolio includes 300 MW of ready-to-build (RTB) projects and 35 MW of our own, already constructed renewable energy farms.
