Project description:
Become a part of enterprise-level project and influence the development of data-driven tools for Quick Service Restaurants.
Our client is a major player in the Point of Sale domain in the US market (the customers are 11 of the top 25 US-based fast food chains such as Taco Bell, Whataburger) and about to start working for European market - Great Britain.
We are looking to complement our team to work on the analytical project as a part of this account. The product allows 70,000 end users to quickly validate their marketing, provides social reputation and customer demographics. It’s challenging and exciting as it includes three products with integrations with third party providers.
The big launch happens in September this year. Get on board now and conquer the new markets with us!
Role description:
You’re a decision-maker in development of the most complex, most critical tasks! We are looking for a technical lead who is self-organized and self-motivated developer with no fear of project challenges, who is good in setting goals for himself and for the team and would like to develop himself as a team lead.
As a lead you will be responsible for overseeing team of 3 Intermediate-level and 1 Junior Developer. You will work on the projects that use common platform (written by our team), which can easily be extended depends on business and tech needs.
You will cooperate closely with American developers and may get to go on business trips to the US. Every day you will be surrounded by our strong in-house JS team: 75+ developers (24% Senior and 53% Intermediate-level).
Leading successful delivery of projects will require you to technically plan, coordinate and lead activities across the full delivery lifecycle.
You will:
• Lead delivery of the products all the way from requirements investigation to release stage
• Be responsible for investigating, analyzing, discussing, making, approving complex technical decisions and having them implemented
• Work closely with technical leads from the client's team on resolving dependencies and identifying technical requirements for the platform
• Work closely with business analyst, developers, and quality assurance engineers
• Communicate with other leads to ensure common understanding and knowledge
• Be technical mentor for less experienced team members
• Provide estimates to new development
Required skills:
• At least 3+ years of experience in JavaScript development
• 1+ year of experience in Node.js (Sails.js) and in ReactJS / Redux
• Strong understanding of AWS ecosystem (EC2, S3, Lambda, load balancing)
• Work with Apache Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis
• Additional experience in D3.js, Webpack, nginx, Docker
• Experience in communication with foreign customer, third party providers
• Upper - Intermediate English

• Desire to mentor and educate the team
