Information about the position

Do you like PHP? We are looking for a full-stack web developer who wants to join our development team!

In ui42 we work on various projects, most often online shops in our CMS BUXUS. You will work on the development of new and maintenance of existing websites, applications and online shops.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

• back-end/ full-stack PHP development in our own CMS Buxus built on Laravel
• the work also includes interfacing our site with Google technologies (primarily GTM- Google tag manager), for example interfacing external services based on Javascript (CMP- consent management platform, Cookie bot…)
• interesting, often challenging projects with great potential for your further growth
• we use continuous deployment, we do code reviews
• we have internal testers, we write unit tests and selenium tests
• we apply modern technologies like PHP 7, Laravel 5-8, redis, SOLR, elasticsearch, beanstalkd
• you can deal with all aspects of web development – ​​not only development but also UX, e-commerce, analytics, adwords…

1. you will be assigned a mentor + on a new project also a senior colleague will always be available to you
2. you will go through our detailed induction week, including video training sessions prepared by our developers, so the learning curve will go up sharply
3. we will set up at least 2 HR meetings in the first three months to see how mutual expectations are being met and what you need help with

Requirements for the employee

Required Technical and Professional Experience:

• PHP - Advanced
• HTML - Advanced
• MySQL - Advanced
• JavaScript - Advanced
• UNIX/Linux administration - Basic

In addition, we are also looking for:

• experience with open-source PHP MVC frameworks
• knowledge of google technologies
• independence and initiative in solving problems
• high intellectual and learning capacity

Preferred Education: University degree in Informatics or Programming
