Job Description
Project Manager with a technical background to join a fast-growing company. We appreciate an effective, goal-driven manager with an excellent math/computer science background. We expect a successful candidate to possess the ability to assess and decompose tasks with great precision, as well as manage resources and be able to develop effective communication with the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking an active part in presales activities including project effort estimates;
- End-to-end scoping for the customer projects
- Discover business requirements, convert them into the more technical ones, drive and coordinate all the technical implementation
- Manage client expectations from a deliverables perspective
- Establish and maintain relationships with all client’s stakeholders, become the primary go-to delivery person on all project matters.
- Create and maintain project plans, tasks, and milestones
- Prioritize the team’s work in accordance with the project plans
- Facilitate daily Scrums, Retrospectives, Review, Refinement, and Planning meetings;
- Track project performance and proactively communicate project status and risks to stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with customers, and internal teams across multiple geographical regions and timezones.
- Advice to the recruiting department on expanding the team by finding and attracting talents from the market and developing internal team members.
- Act as a mentor and advisor for future leadership subordinates.
- Help newcomers to go up to speed with the project
- Choosing the right resources for the new projects/tasks
Requirements
- Computer Science or Engineering Degree
- 3+ years in Software Development
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- English level - Upper-intermediate or higher
- Knowledge of Java/C#/Python/Node.js, SQL, and front-end technologies
- Excellent understanding of client-side and server-side architectures
- Thorough understanding of the Agile Software Development Methodology
- Ability to manage/supervise multiple projects in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Ability to build processes in the new project team from scratch
- Ability to understand, challenge, and suggest improvements in solution architecture.
- Desire to constantly improve the technical solution to meet the changes in the Client’s needs and market trends
- Deep understanding of CI/CD and other continuous integration principles
- Great experience in managing teams
