Responsibilities

- Build QA processes on project from scratch;

- Managing test team (up to 6 members) and planning workload;

- Resource managements;

- Design test strategies by analysing and dissecting complex and heavily integrated software/hardware systems to create well-structured test plans;

- Perform feature and functional testing (including possible treadmill or outdoor runs), and verify bug fixes;

- Create test reports for software releases;

- Work both independently and in close collaboration with others in the team and across the business (different apps with shared user base);

- Work with a team of application software engineers to develop hardware and software tooling that helps test and verify stakeholder requirements;

- Participate in the Agile planning and design process for new features and initiatives;

- Design, plan and execute tests which validate software specs.

Requirements

- 4+ years of experience in software testing and team management;

- Ability to research, author, collaborate on, and execute software-driven test plans, including manual manipulation of devices;

- Ability to lead root causes analysis into software failures and customer returns;

- Successful track record of technical testing success.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in using TestRail or another test case management system;

- Knowledge of testing hardware and firmware of Bluetooth connected devices;

- Experience with running automated tests on a CI pipeline (Jenkins preferable);

- Experience with mobile testing and automation;

- Knowledge of development cycle for mobile/web applications;

- Knowledge of specifics of iOS and Android;

- Advanced level of Jira/Confluence knowledge;

- Basics of xCode/Android studio;

- Monitoring tools: xCode logs, adb logs, browsers dev tools;

- Knowledge of HTML proxy tools would be an advantage.
