THE PROJECT:
Our client is an international developer and manufacturer of high-quality electronic security systems and components. Company is dedicated to enhancing people's way of life by increasing their sense of security.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
Develop a high-tech server based on GNU/Linux designed to receive notifications from security panels, relay them to the security offices, notify end-users, configure and upgrade the software of the premises equipment.
NECESSARY SKILLS:
- 4+ years' experience in C++ programming
- 4+ years' experience with Unix/Linux based systems (C++ Linux enterprise technologies, not embedded)
- Knowledge of POSIX
- Network, multi-threaded programming
- IPC knowledge
- Experience with ACE, Boost, CORBA is a plus
- Familiarity with version control systems
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Perl
