UKEESS Software House is looking for Senior FullStack JavaScript Engineer (React/NodeJS) to join our team for a full-time position (remotely in Ukraine or in Lviv’s office).
About the Client and the Project:
Our customer is the world’s largest DNA network from the USA. With more than 30 billion digitized global historical records, 100 million family trees, and 18+ million people in their growing database, our customers help people discover their family stories and gain actionable insights about their health and wellness. And one of our team is working on a middleware for UI and mobile apps that aggregates calls to many internal services and thus provides flexible opportunities to receive data from the system.
Tech stack of the project: JS/React/NodeJS/HTML/SCSS/AWS
In this role, you will be a leading contributor in designing and implementing the next generation of the project to deliver billions of new DNA discoveries to customers. You will be part of a team that significantly increases the user's experience and directly influences their satisfaction.
Responsibilities will include:
To partake in the design, architecture, and development of advanced software solutions, and provide high levels of system support for internal systems, e.g. that support the visualization and analysis of multi-dimensional data that represents the responsiveness of our product
Provide guidance for micro-service REST API design
Write key algorithms to maximize scalability and reliability
Write code and unit tests
Conduct code reviews
Diagnose complex problems involving multiple systems and technologies
Requirements:
Recent and proficient experience with building RESTful services in a microservices environment
5+ years of experience with Clear JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5
4+ years of experience with NodeJS and React
Proven experience building scalable websites
Clouds & Container experience (AWS preferred)
Strong understanding of data structures and design patterns
Experience or knowledge of the Review MVVM Architectural Design and TDD Patterns
Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment)
Strong command-line experience using remote access Linux
Knowledge of web protocols
English: Upper-intermediate level at least (both speaking and writing)
It will be a plus:
Experience or strong knowledge of Typescript
Experience with Angular
