We occupy ourselves with an on-line shop for furniture and household appliances. Our shop is in Germany and France as well as in other European countries. As we are a dynamic and fast growing company, our aim is to offer the best service and the best product assortment to our customers.
We are looking for a great Senior Front-End Engineer who is passionate about developing customer-facing front end solutions that will deliver a great user experience. This position is full-time and based in our cool office in Kiew.
Tasks
- Working with product managers to implement the next generation of our e-commerce experience
- Technical implementation ( HTML / CSS / JS / PHP ) of design templates and technical characteristics
- Identify and adopt best practices for software and front-end engineering
- Build prototypes and proof of concepts to demonstrate new technologies
- Build beautiful, fast, efficient and reusable front-end solutions
Skills
- Skilled in working with JavaScript, HTML; CSS; PHP and MySQL, 3+ years of experience in building web applications, ability to write high-performance, reusable code for the UI
- Courageous in taking ownership and being accountable for the results of your decisions.
- Motivated in making a positive impact on our engineering culture and encouraging knowledge sharing (eg. in our internal Web Guild).
- Ambitious in delivering products that re-define the user experience and making bold decisions about the means and tools of delivery and operation.
- Exceptional in communication skills in English, German is a plus
