The U.S. Mission in Kyiv, Ukraine is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the Chauffeur/Expediter in the Regional Affairs Office.
DUTIES: The Expediter/Chauffeur provides safe, secure, and punctual transportation for Regional Security Office (RAO) personnel and official visitors, including recurring train-station movements that support officer rotations into and out of Kyiv. The incumbent conducts scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs at Kyiv rail stations and other locations, ensuring timely, secure movement between travel hubs, lodging, and RAO facilities. The job holder may serve as on-scene movement coordinator, acting as the single point of contact for RAO personnel throughout the movement. The incumbent receives daily operational direction from the Fleet Operations Coordinator.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
- Experience: Minimum two years of professional driving experience, plus at least one year of experience supporting a large organization, transportation service, logistics operation, or similar environment.
- Language: Good working knowledge of English (writing/reading/speaking) is required. (This may be tested) Good working knowledge of Ukrainian (writing/reading/speaking) is required.
- Driving requirement: Should have a valid driving license (categories B and D) to operate official Embassy vehicle.
(Should be able to pass on the road driving test)
