We are looking for an outstanding Android Engineer to join our team. Our team is passionate about building new technologies and as our newest member you will have open lines of communication with the entire team to suggest ideas and improvements.
You 'll be implementing fun and engaging features to delight our growing user base. You will have features from conception to roll out.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Collaborate with team to ship new, fun features
- Work closely with the iOS / xPlatform engineers to iterate and improve on existing features
- Develop high quality code and implement best practices across all Android processes
- Work on optimizing app performance
- Help develop system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
- Push the limits of Android to build exciting and engaging features
- Own features from design to launch and beyond
- Evaluate trade-offs to iterate quickly while not compromising on stability and quality
- Continually improve app performance while also maintaining excellent code quality
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 1-2 years experience developing and shipping Android apps
- 3+ years work experience
- A highly motivated and detail-oriented Android engineer
- CS background
- Strong Kotlin and Java skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality code quickly
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Strategic thinking
NICE TO HAVE IT
- Helped ship and maintain a top-tier popular Android app
- Experience with real-time / streaming video apps
- Experience with threaded messaging interfaces
- Experience with ARCore
- Experience with multimedia on Android
- Experience implementing animated interfaces
- Experience with intensive camera development
- Experience with analytics and reporting SDKs
