United Plumbing is a local Californian plumbing company specializing in water heater installation and repair.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to oversee all aspects of our company's financial management. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of financial operations, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of driving financial success. The Financial Director will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy, managing risk, and ensuring the long-term financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to support the company's objectives and drive sustainable growth.
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to provide accurate and timely financial information to senior management and stakeholders.
Monitor financial performance against key metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address issues and capitalize on opportunities.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls to mitigate risk and safeguard assets.
Stay abreast of industry trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes that may impact the company's financial position and performance.
Ensuring well-coordinated teamwork of the financial department, promoting staff development, stimulating employee motivation, as well as the ability to automate financial accounting and control processes.

Requirements and skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or CMA is in a plus.
2 and more years of experience in financial management roles, with a proven track record of success.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute financial plans that drive business results.
Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Remote work.

Schedule: 8-9am - 5-6pm PST time zone (6-7pm - 3-4am Kyiv time).
