Leading 3 different teams with >20 reporting people was responsible for Trade Funds Management mainly for Russia and Belarus and some project also covered Ukraine and Kazakhstan. One team was a team of programmers and I simultaneously did roles of Project Manager and Business Analyst – my task was to define and analyze the business problems, develop business solutions, document the solution and explain implementation details to programmers, set and track execution deadlines, ensure sufficient staffing and funding, test the solution after task execution, deploy to end-users and educate them on how to use it. Second team was a team that supported different internal processes that were mostly linked to internal system of promotion planning and funds tracking. My task was supervising the processes, adjust processing to changing market reality and business needs, ensure smooth transition of people in the team, create a new process based on business requests, ensure sales people operate in compliance with internal processes and guidance. Third team was a team of analysts that were analyzing promo spending effectiveness and forecasting the most efficient spending using machine learnings and financial modeling. I was setting a tasks, deadlines, negotiated expectations and analysis results with business, developing algorithms and played a role of business expert. As a result – I delivered incremental net organic sales of $13.0 mln via implementation of the automated system of promo effectiveness evaluation, tracking and forecasting. Identified $17.6 mln of savings that were reinvested. Established several crucial internal processes, enabling sales teams to better satisfy customer’s expectations and to grow sales. Developed and implemented principles of sufficient trade funds allocation between market layers to grow company’s competitiveness and effectiveness of spending. Developed and delivered an automated solution for trade budgets management. Established an enhanced management review process to ensure high level of stewardship and internal compliance. I was awarded with CEO award (top 3% of employees worldwide by performance).
